People with Learning Disabilities
If people want information about day opportunities, please contact the Community Learning Disability Team who will carry out an assessment. From the assessment, if you need the Fair Access to Care Services criteria you will receive your care services through a personal budget.

Other day opportunities
There are a great many other ways that you could choose to spend your time - even if you need support to do so. Some are offered by organisations which support particular groups, some are open to the whole community Take a look at the activities offered in the Dudley Community Information Database or follow the links from the Universal Services page. The pages on Assessments and Support Planning explain how personal budgets can help people to take advantage of a wider range of activities than those offered by ‘traditional services'.
Many entertainment and sports venues offer concessionary tickets for people with disabilities and in many cases a person who accompanies them. It is always worth checking their website or asking when booking. For example check out the Cinema Exhibitors' Association Care (CEA) which, for a small annual fee, allows one free ticket for people accompanying people with disabilities or older people who meet certain criteria.
