Vision Support Service

The Vision Support Service holds the register of people who have been registered either Blind or Partially Sighted. However, the actual registration can only be completed by an Ophthalmologist.

Once the Vision Support Service has been informed that a person has been registered we make contact with the person to provide any information they may require or offer any of our services which include rehabilitation, mobility training or aids to daily living. Rehabilitation may involve help with cooking, reading or travelling to the shops or work etc.

The Vision Support Service will respond to requests from people with any sight problem - registration is not a requirement for the service.
