Our Living well, feeling safe service works to support vulnerable and older people. It helps them to stay safe, healthy and independent in their homes.

The service is led by Dudley Council, supported by West Midlands Police, West Midlands Fire Service and local and national charities.

Our support can and does make a huge difference to many people’s lives. We can help them continue to live independently and comfortably in their own homes and local communities.

We provide tailored information and advice, as well as a whole range of practical support services such as home assessment visits and our bespoke online service.

You might need some help or advice because you or a family member are:

  • recovering from an illness
  • returning home from a hospital stay
  • starting to struggle with managing at home
  • struggling with mobility and it is not what it was
  • feeling vulnerable at home
  • looking for general advice with keeping healthy and well
  • feeling lonely and would like to get out more

Living well, feeling safe - online self-assessment tool
