The nine Task Areas are broadly defined parts of the Borough where trees are growing or wide-ranging issues in which trees may play a large part. They focus attention onto areas where tree cover needs to be maintained or added to. The implementation of projects in these areas is subject to the availability of resources but ideas are given regarding who could be involved, some objectives for the Task Area and which parts of the Tree Strategy can help to further these objectives.
The Tasks Are:
Trees Along Main Transport Routes
Trees In Residential Areas
Maintenance Of Young Tree Plantations
Trees On Development Sites And Close To Utilities
Trees In Parks And Open Spaces
Tree Planting For The FutureTrees And Nature Conservation
The Contribution Of Trees To Local Agenda 21
The Role Of Trees In Education And Information
