PEPs are Moving Online!
The Dudley Virtual School is working with eGov Digital to implement the ePEP online. This is a secure online platform which will replace the current PEP forms. It will streamline the PEP process with a range of benefits. It is anticipated that then system will go live in September 2016. More information
Pupil Premium Guidance for 2015-16 Available
The Virtual School's Pupil Premium for LAC Guidance for 2015-16 is now available on the Virtual School web site. It includes information on how much will be paid to schools and how to access additional support funded by the Pupil Premium.
Pupil Premium for LAC allocation held at £1900 per child
From April 2015 the Pupil Premium for LAC allocation will be £1900 per child. The Virtual School will send £500 per term for every child looked after by Dudley MBC to their school. Pupil Premium for LAC to Increase by £1000
From April 2014, the Pupil Premium for Looked After Children will be known as ‘Pupil Premium Plus’ and will increase to £1,900 per pupil, more than double the £900 awarded in 2013 to 2014. Children will be covered as soon as they enter care and the eligibility will be extended to include children adopted from care and those who leave care under a special guardianship order or residence order. Pupil Premium to Increase
The Government has announced that the Pupil Premium for Looked After Children will increase to £900 for the financial year 2013-2014. That's a whopping 50% increase equating to £300 per term. Most schools are already being very creative and supportive in their use of the Pupil Premium to support our looked after children so we are sure that, this year, all schools will make good use of this valuable resource.
