Infant Class Size Legislation

Under the School Standards and Framework Act 1998, an admissions authority can refuse to admit a child to Key Stage 1 (Reception - Year 2) of a school if the limit of 30 pupils has been reached and the admission of further pupils would cause "class size prejudice"

Additional children may be admitted under limited exceptional circumstances.  Please contact School Admissions for further details about these circumstances.
