Travelling to the Archives

On foot – the Archives and Local History Centre is a 10-minute walk from Dudley town centre.

By train - the closest railway station is Tipton which is on the Birmingham to Wolverhampton line – approx. one mile from the Archives.

By bus - there are a number of bus routes that stop outside the Black Country Living Museum and so are convenient for The Archives and Local History Centre:
Number 24: Merry Hill to Foxyards Estate 
Number 229: Bilston to Dudley via Coseley Sedgley
Number 311: Walsall to Dudley
Number 313: Walsall to Dudley
Number 310: Willenhall to Merry Hill via Wednesbury and Dudley

By car - the Archives and Local History Centre is situated in Dudley on the A4037 between Dudley and Tipton, next to the Black Country Living Museum. Car parking is available at the side and rear of the building. Please note that no parking is allowed at the front of the building (this is strictly for coach parties).
