International Games week

We will soon publish details of our Library events to celebrate International Games week.  We hope to have some drop-in gaming tasters and more...

  • Sunday October 29th, 11am to 1pm: Stourbridge Library, Game taster drop-in.  Have a go at a range of sci-fi, fantasy and war era board games.  The session will be hosted by a member of the Kinver Board Games Group, so if you like the taster why not find out about joining the group?

  • Saturday 4th November: Chess taster at Sedgley Library.  Come along and have a taste of chess! If you have never played the game or haven't played for years then why not come along and have a go? You can also find out about joining the local Mercia Chess club.

  • Saturday 4th November: gaming taster at Halesowen Library, 1pm to 3pm.  We will have a selection of sci-fi, fantasy and other board games for tasting.

Spooky crafting fun at your local Library!

  • Sedgley Library: Tuesday 24th October, 10.30am to 11,30am. Booking required at the Library due to limited spaces. 

  • Coseley Library: Thursday 26th October, 10am: spy radio craft. Booking required due to limited space.

  • Gornal Library: Tuesday 31st October, 3pm to 4.30pm. Refreshments included.  Also join in the letter hunt and be in with a chance to win prizes.

  • Halesowen Library: Monday 23rd October: Think Tank -  11-11.40am & 12-12.40pm. Learn about space, the natural world, electricity and more in this session from award winning science museum Think Tank.

  • Kingswinford Library: Wednesday 25th October:  Hour of Code -  11am-12pm. Choose your favourite character from Frozen, Minecraft, Star Wars and many more and work through a fun tutorial to learn the basics of coding. For children aged 6 +

  • Sedgley Library : Thursday 26th October - Ozobots Robot Coding -  2-3pm. Learn how to program mini Ozobot robots.

  • Stourbridge Library:  Friday 27th October: Hour of Code,  11-12pm. Choose your favourite character from Frozen, Minecraft, Star Wars and many more and work through a fun tutorial to learn the basics of coding. For children aged 6 +

Library Lion: fun packed theatre for 4-7 year olds.

Come along to this free family event! Find out what happens when a lion comes to storytime!  Songs, laughter and much more!

Arts and Crafts club 

A regular crafting club for children at Dudley Library.

Coding Club

Coding clubs are aimed at children 9-11 and take place after school. Coding clubs are great fun and help develop creative thinking and collaboration. Children learn how to make animations and games. [Term-time only].

Halesowen Library: Tuesdays: 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
