Tell us once is a service which helps people when they are registering a death.

The service aims to reduce the amount of calls that a relative has to make to government agencies and council departments when registering a death.

When using the service, which is provided at all death registration appointments, people will simply tell the registrar the details once and we in turn will, on the informant’s behalf, record the details into the tell us once system so that you can notify the government organisations and council departments that need to know.

The service greatly reduces the amount of time that people need to spend contacting organisations about a death, so eases added stresses and pressures.

More information on the process and its benefits can be found at Gov.UK Tell Us Once.
