Market Cleansing

Dudley Town is a thriving market town with a strong tradition of market shopping. Its open-air market dates back to the 12th century and from the outset, was located in the heart of the town. The market is now owned and operated by Dudley Council. 

When is the market held

Dudley Market is open six days, Monday to Saturday, every week and provides a high quality shopping service. It is a 74 stall outdoor Market and traders come from far and wide to offer a wide variety of goods.

What we do

The Council is responsible for keeping the local market grounds clean and free from litter. It is cleansed prior during and after Trading.
