From August 2006, Dudley Council has been actively seeking comments from key stakeholders and those people with a vested interest in Brierley Hill. This is referred to as ‘frontloading consultation’. The results from this consultation helped to inform the Issues and Options stage of the Brierley Hill AAP. The comments received through this ‘frontloading’ consultation have been set out in a report along with the Council’s response and it is available to download below.
The Issues and Options Document was placed on consultation for 6 weeks in July and August 2007. The comments received have also been consolidated into a report which contains the Council’s responses and this is also available from the bottom of this page. The detailed representations can be viewed via the link below.
The comments received during the Issues and Options consultation informed the Preferred Options for the Brierley Hill AAP which were published for consultation during March and April 2008. The representations received, and the Council’s response to them, are available to view from the link below.
The representations received at Preferred Options stage led the Council to believe that some changes were needed to the strategy. The significant changes and further developments made to the strategy were published in a ‘policy development update’ consultation document in March 2009. The representations received, and the Council’s response to them, are available to view from the link below.
The consultation at each of these stages informed the preparation of the Brierley Hill Area Action Plan Publication Document. Representations were invited on the soundness of this document between 30th November 2009 and 15th January 2010. The representations received, and the Council's resonse to them, are available for the link below.
A ‘Consultation Report’ was been prepared to accompany the publication of the Area Action Plan. This report summarises who was consulted, how they were consulted, the main issues raised and how those main issues had been addressed at each stage in the process. The Consultation Report and its Appendices are available to download from the bottom of this page.
