Dudley Council holds records relating to planning applications dating back to 1948, and building control records relating to 1974. Information is however stored in a variety of different mediums depending on the age of the applications.
We are in the process of electronically scanning the archive applications, however this is likely to be achieved over a number of years. The following page is therefore a guide to the sources of information, and how to access them.
Electronic Records
Detailed records are available on computer for planning and building control applications from 1991 to the present day. These can be viewed online for from our Online Planning and Building Control page, which enables you to search for both Planning and Building Control Applications. You can additionally access Weekly Planning Lists.
Please note that related documents/plans for planning applications are only available electronically with applications registered from 1st December 2005.
