Did you know that Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9.30am - 11.30am you can pay £4 and join in games of badminton. Most days a badminton coach is on hand to organise join in games and to help with handy hints and tips to help improve your game.  Come along and give it a go!

Lifeguarding Course - Tuesday 20 to Saturday 24 February 2018

Swimmers can learn lifesaving skills with a nationally recognised training course at Crystal Leisure Centre.

The Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) national pool lifeguard course will take place as follows: Tuesday 20 to Friday 23 February, 12.30pm - 9.30pm and Saturday 24 February, 7.30am to 5pm, with the exam taking place on the Saturday afternoon. Participants will receive a course manual and special tuition and will be expected to take an exam at the end. Those who complete the course successfully will obtain an official lifeguard qualification and certificate. Participants must be over 16 years of age and will be expected to take a pre-arranged swimming test beforehand (t-shirt and shorts are required). The course costs £245. During February half term, the centre will offer the following activities/sessions. For further details of activities taking place please see the attachment below:

Some of the sessions must be booked in advance to guarantee a place. Options+ leisure discount is accepted for most activities.

100% Quality Assurance from RLSS Assessment

The Crystal Leisure Centre scored a perfect 100% score on a quality assurance assessment by the UK's leading provider of lifeguard training, IQL, part of the Royal Lifesaving Society UK.
