Christmas events 2017

Dudley is set to be filled with seasonal fun as Christmas lights get switch-on and festive events take place across the borough.

Below is a list of the Christmas events and activities taking place this year, keep checking the page as this will be regularly updated in the run up to Christmas.

Saturday 18 November – Halesowen Christmas light switch on, Somers Square, 9am – 5pm
•    Christmas craft market
•    FREE vintage fairground rides (from 11.30am)
•    Street food fair including Tex Mex, Caribbean, wood fired pizza, gourmet burgers, waffles and crepes. Beverages will be on offer from Blind Monkey Brewery and Swankys Cocktail Bar
•    Entertainment will be provided by choirs, acrobatic elves and fire breathers performing throughout the day
•    Meet Father Christmas
•    Black Country Radio stage

Saturday 25 November – Stourbridge Christmas light switch on, High Street and Market Street, 9am – 5pm
•    Christmas craft and food market
•    Children's fairground rides
•    Meet Father Christmas in his grotto
•    Chicago's Stage hosted by Black Country Radio in Ryemarket Square
•    Main stage on Crown Square with live performances throughout the day
•    Coronation Street’s ‘Sean Tully’ Anthony Cotton will officially switch on the lights at 5pm

Saturday 2 December – Dudley Christmas light switch on, Market Place, 9am - 5pm

•    Christmas food and craft market
•    Meet Father Christmas in his grotto
•    Children's fairground rides
•    Face painting
•    Live entertainment
•    Black Country Radio Stage

Saturday 9 December – Brierley Hill Christmas light switch on, Moor Centre, 9am - 5pm
•    Christmas craft market
•    Children's fairground rides
•    Meet Father Christmas in his grotto
•    Face painting
