Himley Hall is now open to the general public and for special events and bookings. The Hall will remain open to the public from Saturday 2nd April until Sunday 4th September 2016.
2016 opening hours are: Tuesday - Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday 2.00 - 5.00pm

An exhibition of artwork (old & new) by Phil Sedgley
Originally from West Bromwich, art has been Phil’s main interest since early years and a hobby since his late teens. Working originally with oil paints and looking to landscapes for subjects, Phil progressed to use other media on a variety of surfaces; canvas, cotton, board, glass and ceramics and with a wider range of subjects including wildlife, vehicles and imaginative compositions, each presenting fresh challenges along the way. Much of Phil’s artwork is for sale and can be viewed on his website www.philsedgleyart.com
A Brush for Life Saturday 2 April – Sunday 4 September
An exhibition by Wolverhampton born illustrator and fine artist Rebecca Cresswell. Rebecca specialises in ‘art in healthcare’ and pet portraits. The exhibition is a varied mix of loving dog portraits sitting next to pieces of art that have engaged groups of healthcare patients from young children to senior citizens. Dogs hold a particular place in Rebecca’s heart and she is aiming to raise funds for the Dogs Trust and Birmingham Dogs Home from any exhibition sales.
Sci-Fi Junk! Saturday 2 April – Sunday 4 September
An amazing collection of books, ornaments, models, spaceships and oddities collected since the 1970's by local sci-fi fanatic Nigel Harris. On display will be items and memorabilia from Babylon 5 to Star Wars as well as Star Trek and many more sci-fi shows through the decades.
Bridal Fayre Sunday 2 October 11.00am– 4.00pm
This Bridal Fayre takes place within the beautiful setting of Himley Hall and showcases everything needed for your special day, including three fashion shows. It offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for future brides, grooms and their families. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a pot of tea or a coffee in the tea room during your visit! Admission charge £1.00

Himley Hall Guided Tours ...discover the hidden secrets of the hall
Discovering just what is behind all the huge panelled doors, or seeing the former indoor swimming pool with its 'cocktail balcony' still intact, can only be done on a Himley Hall guided tour.
The fascination with Himley continues and guided tours are available during the summer months on specific dates (admission fee). Guided tours are also available for groups of 24 or more persons, with buffet and refreshments if desired.

Band Concert Sunday 29 May 2.30pm – 5.00pm
Come, sit and enjoy the sounds of West Midlands Concert Band who launch this year’s Band Concert season. This year their repertoire includes a mix of film classics, March pieces and classical adaptations for concert brass/wind bands. West Midlands Concert Band are a volunteer community band based in Wolverhampton with players of all ages . Bring your picnic and relax on the lawns in the main courtyard of Himley Hall.

Steam & Country Fair
Sunday 5 June 11.00am – 4.00pm
Now in its third year, this event is established in the Himley Hall and Park events calendar. This summer we are opening the event to all models of vintage transport and introducing a Country Fair, including over 50 stalls offering arts & crafts, fine foods, vintage stalls, ethnic hand-crafted collectables and unique and unusual artefacts.
Stroll through Himley Park and enjoy the sights and sounds of the collection of full size and miniature traction engines and vintage vehicles including bicycles, motorcycles, cars, tractors and more!

Guided Walk of Himley Saturday 18 June 10.30am – 12.30pm
A guided walk around the Himley Estate exploring some of Himley’s fascinating history and wildlife found on the park with the opportunity to visit the Earl of Dudley’s Memory at the end of the walk. Suitable footwear needed. Meeting point by the notice board on the main car park

Open Day of the Earl of Dudley’s Memory Garden
Saturday 18 June 11.00am – 4.00pm
Sunday 19 June 1.00pm – 3.30pm
The only opportunity in the year to view the evocative Earl of Dudley’s private Memory Garden, last resting place of the actress Gertie Millar wife of the second Earl of Dudley, the fourth Earl and his wife the film star Maureen Swanson.
On Saturday there will be stalls, organ music and refreshments

Enjoy a pleasant afternoon spent listening to the BJ Concert Band.
To get your feet tapping they will be playing a selection of swing music, marches and items from film and stage selected from their recent concerts. These have included Phantom of the Opera, Oliver, West Side Story, Jersey Boys, Bohemian Rhapsody, Count Basie Salute and many more well loved favourites. Bring your deckchairs and picnic, tea room open. Free event.
Kids Under 5’s Day Friday 24 June 10.00am – 3.00pm
This fun filled event is specifically designed for children under 5 years old, with entertainment running for 5 hours including the famous Himley beach, mini zoo, Baby & Toddler Sense, Rugby Tots, Music Bugs, Creation Station, Baby Ballet, Hartbeeps and much, much more.
Armed Forces Day Sunday 26 June 11.00am – 5.00pm
OnSunday 26 June, crowds will gather for the borough's biggest family day out, as Armed Forces Day 2016 gets underway. Celebrating the work of servicemen and women, the annual event is set to be bigger and better than ever.
There will be children's rides, entertainment from 40s singing trio the D-Day Darlings as well as displays of current and ex-serving military vehicles and an RAF spitfire flypast. Free admission and parking.

The popular classic motor show returns once again to Himley, with classic motors from 1930’s to the 1980’s. Featuring displays from local car clubs and enthusiasts with a new feature for 2016 ‘Classics in the Park’ - music memories from the vintage and classic era.
