Dudley Council has produced a Draft Rights of Way Improvement Plan (Draft ROWIP) to meet the requirements of the Countryside & Rights of Way Act 2000. The document is a ten year strategic plan to manage the public rights of way network. The Draft ROWIP aims to improve the borough’s public rights of way network and the provision for all users including walkers, cyclists, equestrian and people with mobility difficulties.
The Draft ROWIP has now been published for consultation. Comments and suggestions are invited on the plan from 29th September 2008 to 22nd December 2008.
In order to minimise the environmental impact of the consultation exercise Dudley Council would encourage the Draft Rights of Way Improvement Plan to be viewed or downloaded via the link below. Alternatively copies of the plan can be viewed at the locations below within their normal opening hours and copies are available upon request.
