Vandalism is an illegal, anti-social activity that creates a negative impression of an area and contributes to people's fear of crime.
Dudley Council aim to prevent vandalism within the borough with initiatives such as CCTV, street wardens and improved street lighting. Where vandalism has taken place on public property we will carry out repairs.
Please note that the Council is not responsible for vandalism to the following:
-
Privately owned street furniture: Telephone boxes, some bus shelters and electricity boxes are the responsibility of the company that put them there.
-
Railway property including bridges: Reports of vandalism are dealt with by British Transport Police.
-
Environment Agency Property
We will endeavour to pass on your report to the correct organisation; however we cannot guarantee an outcome.
