The Red House Cone in Wordsley is running a two day craft market this month.
On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 November the cone is hosting its popular annual Christmas craft market which features handmade crafts including seasonal decorations, cards, bags, jewellery, pottery, textiles, silk accessories, dolls clothes and glass.
This has always been a one day event, but due to popular demand, organisers are running the craft market over two days.
There are more than 25 stalls and the craft studios will also be open for resident artists to show their wares. These include a contemporary jeweller and soapmaker. Kids can have fun inSanta’s grotto for £4 and there are craft activities at just £1.
Resident glass artists will also be providing glassmaking demonstrations and selling their work including vases, bowls, jewellery and abstract pieces.
The Stuart Crystal Gift Centre will be open, offering a range of traditional first quality glass and also discounted china and crystal ware.
Councillor Charles Fraser Macnamara, cabinet member for leisure and culture said:
“The annual Christmas market is always popular. There’s a wide range of activities on offer to keep all members of the family entertained and it also provides a great opportunity to buy handcrafted and unique Christmas gifts.”
Entry to the cone and the market is free. The event runs from 11am to 4pm on both days. The cone is open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Sunday. For more information call 01384 812750 or visit www.dudley.gov.uk/redhousecone
