28 - Oliver! at Stourbridge Town Hall

Fans of classic movies are in for a treat at Stourbridge Town Hall next month.

On Monday 3 December the 14ft, surround sound screen in the Wollaston Studio will be showing the Lionel Bart classic, Oliver!

The Oscar winning film features Ron Moody and Oliver Reed with Mark Lester as Oliver. This is part of the hall’s Monday Matinee classic film season which continues in the new year.

Monday Matinee films were launched last season with great success. Demand for tickets proved high and every screening sold out.

Councillor Charles Fraser Macnamara, cabinet member for leisure and culture, said:

“Monday Matinees are always popular, and this glorious technicolour treasure will be just the thing to watch as the dark nights draw in.”

All screenings start at 1.30pm and tickets cost £2.50 per film. Tea and biscuits are included in the price. Tickets are available on 01384 812812. Some may be available on the door.
