Dudley Stroke Association took advantage of a free stall at Dudley Market recently.
Dudley Market offers free stalls to local registered charities and local community organisations when available to promote their good cause and Dudley Stroke Association made the most of this opportunity.
Roger Edwards, from Dudley Stroke Association; said:
“We’re always looking at ways to get our message across to a range of different audiences. As well as offering support to people who have had a stroke and their carers, we also give advice about how to avoid having a stroke.
“We were really grateful to Dudley Council for giving us the stall, we had a really successful day.”
Councillor Pat Martin, cabinet member for law and property, said:
“As it’s central to the town, Dudley Market proves an ideal venue for local charities to share important information with traders and shoppers. I would therefore urge other local organisations to make the most of the free stalls.”
