The Red House Glass Cone in Wordsley will host the event on Roman history next Monday (August 25).

The fun event, which is part of the International Festival of Glass, will run from 10am to 4pm and will also feature a 6ft replica battleground complete with roman soldiers.

Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member of environment and culture said:

“We are committed to ensuring our youngsters find education enjoyable. I’m sure families will have lots of fun taking part in all the activities, which even includes sampling Roman food.”
