20 - Aqua fun at Crystal

Crystal Leisure Centre is splashing out by increasing the number of aquafit classes on offer. 

 

The pool based aerobic sessions have proved so popular that the Dudley Council facility has extended its programme to offer the classes four times a week.

 

Sessions take place on Tuesdays from 7 to 8pm and 8 to 9pm as well as Wednesdays from 9.45 to 10.45am.

 

From Friday 5 September sessions will also take place on Fridays from 9.30 to 10.30am.

 

Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member for environment and culture, said:

 

“Aquafit is a fun class that takes place to music in the pool. It’s low impact and easy to follow so everyone can have a go. 

 

“Crystal Leisure Centre offers lots of brilliant classes and I’m sure our new Friday aqua session will prove very popular.”

 

The first class is free and all subsequent classes cost £3.50 per session. Concessionary groups can save 50% with the Options plus discount scheme.
