Dudley Council’s environmental team is holding a special stand in Dudley town centre on Wednesday 23 April.
The stand, which will raise awareness of the council’s many key services including street cleaning, will be held in the market place from 10am to 2.30pm.
During the event residents will have the chance to find out more about Dudley Council’s environmental management services. Topics are likely to include street lighting, litter picking, removing abandoned vehicles, maintaining parks and open spaces, collecting waste and recyclables, and winter safety.
Andrea Jones, town centre manager for Dudley, said:
“Many of the day to day things we take for granted such as road maintenance and street cleaning is provided through the hard work and dedication of the council’s environmental management team.
“Wednesday is one of Dudley’s busiest day for shoppers and I am sure they will be approaching the marquee for more information on the services we provide.”
The stall is being held as part of a series of shopping centre visits and more dates will be confirmed later in the year.
