Borough residents will have the chance to learn more about safe & sound, Dudley’s community safety partnership at an event at Merry Hill on Saturday 10 May.
The police and fire service will join staff from the council’s community safety team at the Merry Hill centre (near Marks and Spencer) from 9am to 7pm.
Information will be available on all aspects of community safety including domestic violence, alcohol abuse, youth projects, and the new three-year safe & sound partnership plan.
There will be an opportunity to have a say about crime and community safety in the borough and be kept updated with latest developments by completing postcards on the day.
Dawn Hewitt, head of community safety at Dudley Council, said:
“The open day will be a great opportunity for members of the public to find out about safety initiatives in the borough. safe & sound takes every opportunity to meet with local people, aiming to build confidence and provide reassurance.”
