25 - Roadshow calling young dancers

Budding dancers are invited to an informative roadshow at Netherton Arts Centre.

 

Contemporary dancers aged 11 to 16 are being urged to go along on Wednesday 30 April at 5.30pm to meet staff from Momentum: the centre for advanced training for South Asian and contemporary dance.  They will discover how to audition for Momentum, ask questions, find out about taster workshops at DanceXchange at The Hippodrome in Birmingham and pick up an information pack.

 

Teachers, dance tutors, parents, guardians and people working in professional dance agencies are also invited to the roadshow.

 

John Freeman, director of Dudley Council’s children’s services said:

“This is a unique opportunity to get great advice and help from dance professionals and I would encourage any young person with an interest in contemporary dance to visit Netherton Arts Centre on the 30^th.”
