Shoppers visiting Brierley Hill later this month can step back in time with medieval re-enactments taking place in the town centre.
The activities, which have been organised by Dudley Council, will take place in the Moor Centre on Saturday 30 August from 11am to 3pm.
Displays will include demonstrations of a medieval surgery, weapons, tile making and crafts and music, with re-enactors in full costume.
Alongside the historical activities, Abby and Teabags will face paint while a medieval jester will provide fun and entertainment for all the family.
Birds of prey from the Falconry Centre will also be on display at 12noon and 2pm. All re-enactments, displays and face painting will be free of charge.
Councillor Malcolm Knowles, cabinet member for regeneration, said:
“Our medieval events are so colourful it’s no wonder so many people always come to town to see the re-enactors at work.
“With such exciting activities and displays on offer including the magnificent birds of prey there will be something for everyone at this event.”
