29 - Dudley Concert Hall set to shake, rattle and roll

Archived news release from 2008

Dudley will be all shook up when the Vegas Kings arrive to perform legendary hits from Elvis and Neil Diamond.

The double headline show promises an evening of high energy Vegas style entertainment on Saturday 20 September.

The midlands’ favourite Elvis tribute, Mark Clay and Tenerife’s number one tribute artist Charlie Hodge as Neil Diamond will be the stars of the show. They will be singing classics such as Sweet Caroline, Viva Las Vegas, and Suspicious Minds. The show will also feature four-piece band The Strip.

Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member for environment and culture said:

“The Vegas Kings are the UK’s first Elvis and Neil Diamond double headline show, so I’m sure this will be another popular event which will keep the crowds entertained at the Concert Hall. “

The Elvis tribute star will make a pre-show appearance at Merry Hill Shopping Centre on Saturday 6 September to promote the Vegas Kings show.
