Youngsters with disabilities can join in the fun after Christmas with the return of the popular disability sportszone sessions at the Crystal leisure centre.
Dudley Council’s sports development team is running mixed ability sessions aimed at children with disabilities, their brothers, sisters and friends.
It’s a chance to have fun in a friendly, supportive environment with lots of energy and colour. Activities include adaptive sports, trampolining, gymnastics, basketball, football, cricket and parachute games.
The sessions on 3 January and 14 February have separate time slots for youngsters and teens.
The morning session from 10am to 12pm is for children aged five to eight and costs £4 per child. The afternoon session for older children, aged eight to 16 runs from 1pm to 4pm and costs £6 per child.
Parents are welcome to stay or can head off for a couple of hours while children play under the supervision of qualified staff. All sessions must be booked in advance on 01384 815594.
