Families can get in the festive mood with a Christmas concert and a visit from Raymond Brigg’s snowman at Dudley Concert Hall this December.
The concert is suitable for all the family, featuring a mixture of well-loved Christmas music and carols.
The highlight of the show is a performance of Raymond Brigg’s Christmas classic, ‘The Snowman’ narrated by Jeffery Dench from The Royal Shakespeare Company accompanied by a soloist from the Serenata Youth choir.
The performance is set to Howard Blake’s famous score and also features popular carols, seasonal music and spoken word from such writers as Charles Dickens, John Betjeman and Dylan Thomas.
Councillor Charles Fraser Macnamara, cabinet member for leisure and culture, said:
“This is an ideal way to celebrate Christmas and will be fun for all the family.”
The show on Friday December 14 starts at 7.30pm and is perfect for people of all ages. Tickets cost between £13 and £15, with children’s tickets costing £7.50. Tickets are available on 01384 812812 or online.
