People can now report issues and request information from Dudley Council for free from the comfort of their living room.
The council is proud to offer a Digi TV service to borough residents allowing them to contact the council through their TV screen. It has proved hugely successful with thousands of hits on the site each week.
The system allows people with digital television packages (Sky or Virgin Media) or with Nintendo Wii games consoles or internet enabled mobile phones, to access services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
And you can try out the free service right here, right now:
People can report litter, criminal damage, bin collections, council housing repairs, street light problems and much more through the new system.
And residents can also find out more about the council’s service by requesting benefits leaflets, recycling services, vote forms along with direct debit, blue badge, school admissions and housing register application forms.
The Dudley Digi TV site also includes latest news and information on the council’s services in relation to care and caring, jobs and careers, home and housing, leisure and culture, transport and streets, rubbish and recycling, education and learning and community safety.
On top of this you can find out bus and train times, search for jobs and make appointments to visit your GP.
