18 - Eviction for Halesowen man

Dudley Council has been granted an outright possession order for a tenant in Halesowen.

The eviction order was made at Dudley County Court on 8 February against Peter Little of Abbey Road, Halesowen following serious breaches of his tenancy conditions, which included a series of very nasty racist and anti-social behaviour incidents.

On a number of occasions throughout last year Little screamed and shouted at neighbours, used racist and abusive language and behaved in an aggressive and threatening manner.

Councillor Michael Evans, cabinet member for housing, said:
“This is a particularly nasty string of incidents.  Dudley Council will not tolerate breaches in tenancy agreements, nor will it endure anti-social behaviour in any form.

”We will continue to take a hard line against those who continue to make others’ lives a misery.”
