Local people have the opportunity to look at suggested venues for the new Library Link in Quarry Bank during two drop in sessions next month.
They will be able to meet council officers at Quarry Bank Library on Saturday 8 March from 10am to 1pm and on Friday 14 March from 2pm to 5pm to find out how the new Library Link will work.
There’s also the chance for people to have their say on what books will be available and when the Library Link will be staffed.
The new Library Link will provide more than 1,500 books, computer access, personal service from library staff and activities such as homework clubs and reading.
Councillor Michael Evans, the cabinet member responsible for libraries, said:
“Drop in sessions have already been held with local people about the new Library Links in Dudley Wood and Woodside and have proved extremely useful. I would therefore urge residents to take time out to come along and see what the proposals for the new Library Link in Quarry Bank will include.”
The Library Link will be introduced this year as part of Dudley Council’s library modernisation programme. Dudley Wood Library Link will replace the existing library in the area.
