Healthy towns, part of the healthy community challenge fund

At the end of last year the government awarded Dudley £4.5m to create five healthy hubs in the borough.

The scheme aims to encourage families to make the most of outdoor areas by transforming parks and play areas into ‘family health hubs’.

The hubs will be going in at Silver Jubilee Park in Coseley, Netherton, The Dell and Fens Pool in Pensnett, Mary Stevens Park in Stourbridge and Huntingtree Park in Halesowen.
