Motorists and shoppers have just one week left to have their say on a roads masterplan to improve access to Halesowen.
Dudley Council highways bosses are consulting on plans to revamp the roads in and around Halesowen town centre.
It aims to tackle congestion and improve access for motorists and public transport users.
Questionnaires have been distributed throughout the town and people have just one week left to have their say on the proposals.
Councillor Angus Adams, cabinet member for transportation said:
“We have already had an excellent response to the questionnaires, and officers are putting together all the feedback to help shape the next phase of the work.
“But there is still time for people to get involved with this very exciting project, and we hope people will take the time to give us their ideas.”
Leaflets were distributed to the town’s library, leisure centre and housing office in November. They ask for people’s opinions on a number of schemes including changes to traffic roundabout priorities and widening road junctions.
A tear-off section allows people to send their ideas directly into the council via a freepost address. There are also copies of the plan available along with maps of the area detailing the proposals.
The study links in with millions of pounds worth of planned developments in the town centre, which aim to bring more people into Halesowen.
