Blackpool’s favourite organist Phil Kelsall is peforming in Dudley next month.
The Blackpool Tower favourite was appointed resident organist of the Blackpool Wurlitzer in 1977. During the summer months he plays his dance music for the holidaymakers in the ballroom but in the closed season he tours nationally and abroad with his renowned solo show.
Phil will be in Dudley on Tuesday February 19 at 2pm as part of Dudley Concert Hall’s afternoon concert series. Tickets cost £8 and Phil will be playing his SX-FA1 organ.
Councillor Charles Fraser Macnamara, cabinet member for leisure and culture said:
“Phil is always a big draw with Dudley residents who enjoy the wide range of music he performs.”
