People are invited to have a ball with the Mayor of Dudley during his annual charity night.
The Mayor’s ball takes place on March 23 and aims to raise thousands of pounds for charity.
It includes a four course meal, a disco, a comedian and singer as well as a raffle with top prizes. All proceeds will go to the Mayor’s chosen charities - Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA) and the leukaemia unit at RussellsHallHospital.
Councillor Michael Evans, Mayor of Dudley, said:
“The Mayor’s ball is always a wonderful occasion, full of fun and entertainment. Not only that, but it helps raise much needed funds for charity.
“I hope as many people as possible will come along and raise lots of money to help these worthwhile causes to continue their excellent work.”
The popular fundraiser takes place at The Copthorne Hotel, Brierley Hill, from 7.15pm.
Guests can enjoy a glass of Bucks Fizz as they arrive, before a four course dinner with a mouth-watering menu. There will also be a disco and entertainment from singer Maggie O’Hara and comedian Doug Parker. There is also a licensed bar.
Tickets for the ball cost £34 and are available by calling 01384 815211 or emailing christine.skelding@dudley.gov.uk
Closing date for tickets is March 7.
