Dudley Leisure Centre is set to host a range of sporting activities for local teenagers.
The Dudley Council centre is working with Dudley police to offer a number of free sporting activities including basketball, football, cheerleading, volleyball and team games.
Young people taking part in the programme, which has been funded by the police, have been selected as part of a community initiative that aims to tackle anti social behaviour in the Wrens Nest and Milking Bank areas.
The activities will run every Tuesday and Friday for four weeks of the summer holidays at the Dudley centre.
Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member for environment and culture, said:
“This initiative is another great example of how Dudley Council works in partnership with other organisations for the good of the local community.
“With so many sporting activities on offer I’m sure young people taking part in the activities at Dudley Leisure Centre will have lots of fun.”
