8 - Top TV comes to cone

Makers of TV favourite ‘To Buy or Not to Buy’ will be filming at the Red House Glass Cone in Wordsley this Thursday (10 July).

BBC presenters Jenny Powell and Ed Hall will visit the Dudley Council led visitor attraction from 8.30am.

They will try their hand at glass blowing and learn about local history at the cone before helping a couple find their perfect home in Stourbridge. The programme will air on BBC One later this summer.

Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member for environment and culture said:

“The Red House Glass Cone has so much to offer that and gives a real insight into

Stourbridge’s glass making heritage it's no wonder BBC want to film there.

“Dudley is a great place to live, work and visit and I’m sure Stourbridge will provide plenty of interest for the programme.”
