16 - A royal garden party

 

Residents are invited to come along to the fete at Oriel Care Home, Hagley Road, Oldswinford this Saturday (July 19) from 2pm.

 

Among the many stalls there will be strawberries and champagne, a raffle, tombola, cake stall and face painting with entertainment being provided by Paul Woodhead, a one man orchestra.

 

The garden party which will raise money for the residents’ annual Christmas outing will be officially opened by Dudley’s Queen of culture Pat Wakelam.  

 

“It’s a real pleasure to have been asked to open such a wonderful event. It promises to be a lovely day and I hope lots of people will come along and enjoy it with us.”
