Environmental messages from household names including Harrison Ford and Sir David Attenborough are now linked to Dudley websites.
People can now find regular, easy-to-understand content on reducing energy consumption, carbon emissions and global warming through the websites of Dudley Council and Dudley Community Partnership.
The access to the information comes after the community partnership teamed up with a TV channel called CarbonFree TV.
All programming is free to view and immediately accessible at any place, and at any time.
Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member of the environment and culture, said:
“CarbonFree TV offers independent views on environmental messages that I’m sure many residents will find interesting and informative. I hope as many people as possible will access the site from the council and community partnership websites.”
Films on the channel feature reliable and independent perspectives from leading experts, news on new solutions for homes and businesses and case study examples of best practice from around the country.
There’s also information on energy conservation and efficiency, alternative power generation, renewables and microgeneration and special features on reducing CO2 emissions in homes, businesses, schools and large organisations.
All you have to do is click on www.dudleylsp.org or www.dudley.gov.uk and follow a link to CarbonFreeTV.
CarbonFree TV is an independent web-based television channel and not all views expressed are necessarily those of Dudley Council.
