23 - Tenants and residents groups meetings

A series of tenants and residents association meetings (TRAs) are being held across the Dudley Borough during the month of August.

Dudley Council believes in the importance of tenants and residents groups and actively supports and encourages their involvement with the running of their estates.

The groups discuss many issues relating to their estates and discuss ideas of how they can help to make improvements to enrich resident’s lives.

The following meetings are scheduled throughout August and are open to tenants and residents within the area:

Brierley Hill

o Springfield TRA, general meeting, 14 August, The Bulls Head public house, Bull Street, Brierley Hill at 7.00pm

Dudley

o Harts Hill Forum, forum meeting, 6 August, Harts Hill Sports & Social Club, Stourbridge Road at 11.30am

Halesowen

o Highfields Housing Forum, form meeting, 5 August, Lighthouse Project, Andrew Road at 6.00pm

o Tanhouse TRA, annual general meeting, 21 August, meeting room, Chaucer House at 7.00pm

North Dudley

o Brunel & Perivale Forum, forum meeting, 14 August, Summerhill Community Centre, Summerhill Road at 7.00pm

The following area forum meetings are scheduled for during August and are open to tenants and residents, who are encouraged to participate:

o Halesowen area forum, 6 August, The Lighthouse Project, Andrew Road at 6.00pm

Anyone who wishes to attend either the tenants and residents association meetings or area forum meetings should telephone 01384 815168 to ensure the meeting is still taking place, as they may be subject to change.
