Youngsters can reach new heights this summer by scaling a fun climbing wall which will be springing up in parks across Dudley.
The wall will be set up at a number of sites across the borough as part of the Enjoy and Play scheme, and will be free for adventure seekers to have a go.
Climbers aged eight to 14 will be put through their paces to scale the towering structure, which will be run by specially trained instructors.
Councillor Karen Shakespeare, cabinet member for environment and culture, said:
“This is a great way for young people to keep entertained and active over the summer break.”
“I hope to see lots of people coming along to have a go.”
The wall will be at Priory Park, Dudley, on July 28, Dell Stadium, Brierley Hill, on July 29 and Stevens Park, Quarry Bank, on August 18. It will move onto Huntingtree Park, Halesowen, on August 19, Grange Park, Dudley, on August 21 and Buffery Park, Dudley, on August 22. Sessions run from 11am-4pm.
Parents need to fill in a consent form at each venue to allow their child to take part and there is no need to book.
