Green fingered council tenants have just one more week to take part in an annual garden competition.
The competition, run by Dudley Council, closes on June 13 and promises to be bigger and better than ever. There are five categories including hanging basket/container, best garden, sheltered housing, high rise scheme and best new entrant.
Judging will take place during July and application forms can be found in all housing offices, in the spring edition of the tenants magazine HomeAffairs, or by calling the tenant participation team on 01384 815168. Requests for forms can also be emailed to: participation@dudley.gov.uk
Councillor Michael Evans, cabinet member for housing: “This is a great opportunity for tenants to showcase their skills and will demonstrate the variety of both plants and wildlife in Dudley’s gardens. We have some wonderful gardens across the borough and this competition is great to show the skills and hard work that go into creating them. I’d like to wish all participants the best of luck in the competition”
