Gornal is set to be a hive of activity when a special fun day takes place next month.
The event, on Saturday 5 July from 12 noon to 4 pm, organised by Dudley Council’s community renewal team is at Upper Gornal recreation ground , Vale Street. It will officially be opened by the Deputy Mayor of Dudley, Councillor Pat Martin.
There will be entertainment for both adults and children, including Punch and Judy shows, nail art and Indian head massage sessions.
Emergency services will be on hand to offer advice and there will be a birds of prey display and a motorcycle display from the Christian Motorcycle Club. The Ruiton Mill will also be open for visitors and there will be plenty of stalls for people to browse. Refreshments and entertainment will be available throughout the day.
