Halesowen town centre will come alive with the rhythm of music and dance this Friday (June 13).
Dudley Performing Arts students together with 13 primary schools from Halesowen will be taking part in the Halesowen Festival of Arts.
The 800 youngsters, aged seven to 11, will perform in Somer Square between 1 and 3pm.
Activities will include drama performances, Tudor, Bhangra and Irish dancing, along with rock and roll and a spectacular May pole dance.
Councillor Liz Walker, cabinet member for children’s services, said:
“This festival is a great opportunity for younger children to take part in performances outside the normal school environment. I’m sure it will be a wonderful event and inspire many of them to continue performing in the future.”
