12 - Have your say on regeneration plans

Residents are urged to have their say and help shape the future of Shell Corner and Pensnett.

Draft regeneration plans for both centres have been developed following extensive public consultation. There is now an opportunity for people to view these plans and comment further.

Shell Corner proposals can be viewed at Long Lane Library or by visiting www.dudley.gov.uk.  The deadline for comment is Wednesday 2 July 2008.

Pensnett proposals are available at Brierley Hill Library or by visiting the council website.  The deadline for comment is Friday 4 July.

Councillor Malcolm Knowles, cabinet member for economic regeneration, said:
“We had a good response to the initial consultation.
“I would now encourage residents to take a look at the draft proposals and have their say on them to help us shape the future of these two local centres.”

Responses on both documents should be sent to Hannah Mossom, project development officer, Council House, Mary Stevens Park, Stourbridge, DY8 2AA or by email to Hannah.mossom@dudley.gov.uk.
