20 - Tenants and residents groups meetings
A series of tenants and residents association meetings (TRAs) are being held across the Dudley Borough during the month of July.
Dudley Council believes in the importance of tenants and residents groups and actively supports and encourages their involvement with the running of their estates.
The groups discuss many issues relating to their estates and discuss ideas of how they can help to make improvements to enrich resident’s lives.
The following meetings are scheduled throughout July and are open to tenants and residents within the area:
Brierley Hill Area
o Wells Road TRA, annual general meeting, 2 July, The Bulls Head, Bull Street at 6.30pm
o Pensnett TRA, estate walkabout, 31 July at 6.00pm from Jervis Close. Area to be covered are Church Street, Bell Street, School Street, Chapel Street and Jervis Close
Dudley Area
o Bowling Green TRA, public meeting, 1 July, Saltwells EDC, Bowling Greet Road at 7.30pm
o Netherton TRA, inaugural meeting, 10 July, St Johns Ambulance Hall, Griffin Street at 7.00pm.
o This meeting to discuss forming a new Tenants & Residents Association for the following roads within Netherton: Bournebrook Close, Cradley Road (between Marriot Road and Yew Tree Road), Edwards Road, Griffin Street, Halton Street, Hampton Street, Hill Street, Hillcrest Close, Hockley Lane, Knighton Road, Marriot Road, Primrose Road, 2-6 Rayboulds Fold, St. Andrews Street, Upton Street, Walker Street, and Yew Tree Road.
o Wells & Manor Courts TRA, annual general meeting, 16 July, Trinity Church, Church Road at 2.00pm
o Saltwells TRA, public meeting, 15 July, Dudley Wood Learning Centre, Pavillion Gardens at 7.00pm
North Dudley
o Ellowes Hall Forum, forum meeting, 3 July, Ellowes Hall School, Stickley Lane, Lower Gornal at 6.30pm
o Summerhill Forum, forum meeting, 17 July, Summerhill Community Centre, Summerhill Road, Coseley at 7.00pm
Stourbridge
o Norton Green TRA, public meeting, 14 July, Gig Mill School, The Broadway at 7.00pm
o Green Street Gardens TRA, general meeting, 17 July, Baylie Court, Stourbridge at 5.30pm
The following area panel meetings are scheduled for during June. The general public may attend, but are unable to participate:
o Halesowen area panel, 16 July, The Lighthouse Project, Andrew Road at 6.30pm
o Brierley Hill area panel, 23 July, St Paul’s, Hawbush Road at 6.30pm
