13 - Easter’s ‘eggcellent’ in Brierley Hill

Brierley Hill Easter fun Left to right: Jasmine Bloomer, seven, Jessica Bloomer 10 and Maddison Taylor, four, from Brierley Hill, prepare for the Easter egg hunt.

Youngsters visiting Brierley Hill High Street this Easter are invited to take part in an Easter egg hunt.

The Easter contest, open to children aged five to 10, asks participants to mark the High Street location of six Easter egg pictures on an entry form. Correct forms are then entered into a prize draw with an ‘eggslusive’ family cinema ticket going to the winning child.

It is hoped the contest, organised by Dudley Council and Signpost, will make shopping a fun-filled experience for youngsters and grown-ups alike during the Easter break.

The competition runs from Tuesday 25 to Friday 28 March and forms are available from Signpost at 175 High Street, Brierley Hill.

Councillor Malcolm Knowles, cabinet member for economic regeneration, said:

“This is a lovely idea for the younger family members visiting Brierley Hill this Easter and I’m sure the winning youngster will enjoy their family ticket.”
