Youngsters are set to have extreme fun this Easter thanks to Halesowen Youth Centre’s half-term activities.
The centre is running its extreme activities scheme for 13 to 19 year-olds from Tuesday 25 March to Tuesday 1 April.
Youngsters taking part will be given the chance to complete their Youth Achievement Activities Award with activities on offer including climbing, abseiling, quad motor biking, trampolining, theatrical makeup, mixing, skittles, table tennis and art.
The Dudley Council led scheme, funded by West Midlands Police, runs each day from 12noon to 4pm and costs just 50p per child. There will be a selection of healthy refreshments available from the centre’s smoothie bar including drinks, baguettes and ice cream.
Councillor Liz Walker, cabinet member for children’s services, said:
“Youngsters visiting Halesowen Youth Centre this Easter will reach new heights thanks to the fantastic mobile climbing wall that’s coming into the centre.
“It’s great to see so many fun half-term activities taking place across the borough over the half-term break”
