20 - Brockmoor High Street now one-way

Please remember to obey the no entry instruction at Brockmoor High Street.

Motorists are putting themselves, other motorists and vulnerable pedestrians at risk by ignoring the road closed signs at Brockmoor High Street.

Councillor Angus Adams, cabinet member for transportation said:
“The safety of pedestrians and people working on site is of paramount importance, therefore I would ask members of the public to comply with the law and abide by the one-way restriction.”

The works are part of the keeping Brierley Hill moving project, which centres on a new parallel route to the High Street between Dudley Road and Church Street together with a new road linking Waterfront Way with Pedmore Road.

The roadwork’s helpline number is 01384 818831.

The site office in Cottage Street is also open to members of the public each Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 5pm.
